§ 1. General Provisions
- These Terms of Service govern your use of the SkillForge website and its related services. By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.
- The service provider is SkillForge Learning Inc., with its registered office at 1248 King Street West, Toronto, ON M6K 1G2, Canada.
- These Regulations are intended for consumers and define the rules for using the Platform, as well as the rules and procedure for concluding Distance Selling Agreements with the Customer.
- Users must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the services provided by SkillForge.
§ 2. Definitions
- Platform – The online educational platform available at skillforge.ca, operated by SkillForge Learning Inc.
- User – Any natural person with full legal capacity who creates an account and uses the services provided by the Platform.
- Account – A personalized user profile created upon registration, allowing access to the Platform's services.
- Services – All educational content, including courses, videos, articles, and tools provided through the Platform.
- Regulations – This document, the Terms of Service.
§ 3. Type and Scope of Services Provided
- SkillForge provides paid access to a library of online courses and educational materials focused on practical life skills. The scope of access depends on the subscription plan selected by the User.
- The services are provided electronically via the internet and require a compatible device, web browser, and internet connection.
- We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any part of our services, including courses and features, at any time.
- The materials provided are for personal, non-commercial use only. Users are prohibited from distributing, selling, or reproducing course content without explicit permission.
§ 4. Technical Requirements
- To use the Platform, the User must have a device with internet access, an up-to-date web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari), and have cookies and JavaScript enabled.
- The platform is optimized for modern devices, but we do not guarantee flawless operation on all hardware and software configurations.
- The User is responsible for ensuring their equipment meets these technical requirements.
§ 5. Rights and Obligations of the User
- The User is obligated to provide true and accurate information during registration and to keep this information updated.
- The User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account password and for all activities that occur under their account.
- The User agrees not to use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm the service, its reputation, or other users. This includes refraining from posting offensive content.
- The User has the right to use the services in accordance with their subscription plan and these Regulations.
- The User may terminate their account at any time through the account settings panel on the Platform.
§ 6. Final Provisions
- We reserve the right to make changes to these Regulations. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or a notice on the Platform.
- Any disputes arising from these Regulations will be governed by the laws of the province of Ontario, Canada.
- If any provision of these Regulations is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
